About Embrace Health Service
Embrace Health Service is a mobile service offering Occupational Therapy and Support Work assessment, intervention, mentoring and support to the Mid North Coast, NSW. Embrace Health Service provides mobile therapy for the convenience of clients and to ensure that the best clinical outcomes can be achieved. This mobile service ensures comprehensive assessments can be undertaken in the clients' usual environment. This could include the home, school, work place or supermarket depending on the unique needs of each individual.
Embrace Health strives to ensure services are delivered on time and to client expectations. Embrace Health Service is committed to ensuring that client assessment and intervention is individualised and provides exceptional support to maximise independence and engagement in everyday chosen occupations.
Embrace Health Service accepts new clients under the NDIS, Home Care Packages, DVA, Medicare, Chronic Disease Management as well as private clients. Embrace Health Service provides OT services to clients 7 years and up across a range of clinical areas excluding Occupational Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Splinting, Early Intervention and Soft Tissue treatment. Embrace Health Service can support clients to link in with these specialised OT services not offered at Embrace Health Service as required.

Equipment prescription including small aids, larger equipment or specialised bathroom equipment and lifters
Handwriting and motor skill development
Sensory assessments and focused treatment
Home modifications (up to level 3 complexity with NDIS)
Seating, wheelchair and other seated mobility equipment prescription; including scooter education and training
Embrace Health Service now offers Support Work and Therapy assistance; supporting NDIS registered clients with:
Mentoring, peer support, and emotional support using counselling strategies
Developing independent living skills
Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments, various social and recreational events, outings, and educational programs
Assistance with shopping, bill paying, budgeting and transport
Therapy assistance - under the supervision of our qualified Occupational Therapist
Planning and cooking healthy meals
Organize daily activities to encourage health and mental wellness
Coordinate care with other healthcare and support professionals
Assisting clients with household tasks i.e. maintaining a safe, clean, and accessible environment
Developing employability skills
Partaking in hobbies and interests
Promoting adaptive skills in behaviour, daily living, and community integration

My passion for Occupational Therapy intervention is exemplified at Embrace Health Service.
We strive to enable occupational performance in everyday activities that often, people take for granted.
I am a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist at a Masters level. I have worked in paediatrics as well as in a hospital setting where I have worked with children, adults and older adults with a range of disabilities and chronic illnesses. I have also worked for many years in rural community setting and Residential Aged Care facilities across both the public and private health sector.
